The cheery vibe makes the expected delays easy, and of coursde the food is well worth waiting for. Good quality ingredients, prepared with care and served in very generous portions. The deluxe lunch platter is not to be missed, a plate of large tapas style servings of all that is good, with freshly baked tasting bread and top alioli. My husband loved his half lobster and frites that had the added bonus of coming with fresh asparagus. Excellent last lunch in Rotterdam before back home to London. TheForkUserDelightful eaten at Downtown. Previously fresh tuna with good dressing. Mainly the BBQ mixed grill was of 3 types of meat with grilled vegetables. Patate or sauce had to be ordered separately. Friendly service. We were the only guests inside this evening, on the new outdoor terrace at the Merwede were a few places. There was perhaps less pressure because it was Wednesday and a little dark weather. Beautiful location with views of the waterbus that travels from time to time.Contact Us
