Gordon&#39;s Wine Bar Gordon&#39;s Wine Bar is the oldest wine bar in London, founded in 1890 near Charing Cross on the north bank of the Thames. After entering the door, the downstairs is a big wine cellar, because Gordon sells wine that is delicious and not too expensive!

The food is excellent. The restaurant is exceptionally well decorated and has great ambience. Our server Mariana was wonderful throughout the evening and made us feel attended to and special.The restaurant was full and yet the noise level was still very acceptable for having a conversation without having to shout . I put this down to the tables being a good distance apart from each other, especially in the area that we resided.I would definitely go back again .

Lovely staff attending to us. Very efficient and cheerful service. Excellent food, beautifully presented. Atch out for supplements though
