The National Museum of History of Uzbekistan is a model of the combination of Soviet futurist architecture and native ethnic characteristics, its shape is asymmetrical cube, symbolizing "permanent"; the facade is decorated with Panzala grid, and the building alone is worth a visit. The museum is one of the largest museums in Central Asia, featuring rich collections and latest historical documents in various fields such as archaeology, ancient numerology and ethnology in Central Asia, reflecting the general situation of various historical periods in Uzbekistan. The exhibits include the 2,000 BC stone carvings unearthed in the Fergana Basin, the bronze pots of the 1st century BC, the pottery of the 2nd century BC unearthed in Buhara, the coins and weapons of the 3rd century Timur and its later periods. The museum also shows achievements in various fields such as post-independence industry, agriculture, education, culture, art and diplomacy.
