The Count's Castle itself is an ancient building. If you want to see European castles, it should be a good choice. The most important thing is that you can see the whole picture of the city of Ghent from the castle. The view here is particularly good, which may be greater than the castle itself. The museum in the castle is not interesting. Two hours of browsing here is enough!

to better enjoy a center city walk, start from the Reep, and enter the city center through the Limburgstraat. you will first encounter Gerard Duivelsteen, a castle-like residence from the 13th century, before arriving at the cathedral and the magnificent Van Eyck panels. from there on, you have different options for further discovering lovely Ghent. enjoy

Atomium
AirTraveller
The Atomium is one of Brussels’ most iconic landmarks and an impressive architectural feat. The design is striking, and the panoramic views from the top sphere are stunning, especially on a clear day. The exhibitions inside provide interesting insights into the Atomium's history and Belgium’s mid-century design. However, the lines to enter can be long, and the interior feels a bit dated in places.
Saint Nicholas' Church
sculptor
Ghent is the third largest city in Belgium and was one of the largest and wealthiest cities in Northern Europe during the late Middle Ages. Much of the city's medieval architecture is still intact, including St. Nicholas Church.
St. Nicholas Church (Sint-Niklaaskerk) is one of Ghent's oldest and most famous landmarks. It was built in the early 13th century as a replacement for an earlier Romanesque church.
