National Museum of Anthropology

I have visited the National Museum of Anthropology in CDMX 3 times and each time I learn something new. There are of course the must-sees like the Sun Stone but the collections of art, artifacts, maps and more is truly amazing. 10/10 You should visit on next trip to Mexico City!

Templo Mayor Museum

The Great Temple is located next to the central square and is a super convenient attraction. The original temple has been destroyed by Spanish colonists. The existing only towers and stone steps are still amazing.

Chapultepec Castle

The castle is an amazing place to remember some history from the time when Maximiliano de Hasburgo and his wife arrived to mexico to the actual moment. Also all the Mexican context and the nationalism that in primary we get as Mexican. is beautiful to remember. I saw that the Folklore Ballet of Amalia Hernandez have some performances there, I love that company. it’s a pitty that next day I had to go from CDMX and we already have plan for that evening. if you have time get the tickets ☺️

Frida Kahlo Museum

The colourful, beautiful house is filled with the history of two of Mexico's finest artists: Frida Carlo and Diego Rivera. You can see many of the paintings and objects of these two artists and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of their large courtyard. You pay extra to take photos and use audio tours in different languages, but it’s worth it!

Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan

Participated in the AIRBNB group, the price is very high, it is worth asking the tour guide to explain, will more in-depth understanding of the civilization of the Aztec period, super sun, must pay attention to sun protection, exposed ankles are peeling off

Constitution Plaza

Mexico City's Constitution Square is the center of the city, and the very quaint buildings around the square are the location of the president's office. Just register and you can also visit the building. There is also a magnificent church, the interior decoration is amazing.

Pyramid of the Sun

At the foot of the pyramid of the sun, my heart beats faster. The sloppy body still stands in the long river of history, as if talking about the glory and sorrow of ancient civilization. I slowly climbed, my eyes crossed the fog of history, and imagined the people who lived here. How did they create miracles in this land, and how did they face the changes of the years? Overlooking at the top, the vast avenue of the dead stretched in front of me, making me feel a kind of historical weight and loneliness. The moon pyramid stands quietly in the distance, although not as spectacular as the sun pyramid, but has a unique mystery. Every ladder has different tilt angles, which seem to suggest the complexity of years and life. On this ancient monument, I saw the unyielding pursuit of the human spirit, every stone full of stories, telling of yearning and faith. At this moment, I meet the soul of this land, intoxicated in the morning light, and a kind of unspeakable touch in my heart. Mexico, a bright country, brought me a new perspective and experience. It taught me how to talk to the past and find my place in the long river of history.

I don't recommend you spend 80 pesos to buy a ticket like we did. There is only one big exhibition hall, which is very deceptive. The rest is closed. It only took ten minutes to visit. If you really want to come on Sunday, you can just come and see the free one.
