Iron bridge was the first iron bridge located on river Severn. Due to the limited metallurgical technology at the time, the whole bridge was made of gray cast iron. There was no steelmaking technology at the time, and the gray cast iron was brittle, so now the bridge is only for viewing. what a brilliant time we had here. so much to do for all the family. my daughter loved the wolves and we had great fun on the dinosaur park. would definitely recommend it for a day out.
