Tian Yi Ge Museum

The library is very worth a visit. It records the life of the literati of the right-hand man of the military department of the Ming Dynasty. The architectural style is also a typical Jiangnan garden. The scenic spot is much larger than expected. Not only there are some buildings for collection, but also some garden scenery. It is worth a visit to Ningbo attractions.

Xikou-Tengtou Scenic Area

The east, west and south sides are all cliffs, facing the abyss below, surrounded by mist, like a fairyland. This is a place that is inseparable from Mr. Chiang's political career. In the early Qing Dynasty, Qiyun Temple was first built in Miaogaotaibei; in 1726, the stupa of Shiqi Zen Master was built; in 1927, Chiang Kai-shek built a villa on the basis of "Qiyun Temple" and wrote "Miaogaotai" by hand; it was destroyed in the autumn of 1968 and rebuilt with state funds in 1987. The Chiang family villa in Miaogaotai is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. There is one bungalow on each side of the gate, a flat-top balcony, three two-story buildings behind the patio, and the cement corridor upstairs is connected to the balcony. There is a white plaque with black characters "Miaogaotai" on the middle door, and three bungalows behind it, connected by walls, with a total construction area of 436 square meters. Legend has it that the Song Dynasty monk Zhihe Zen Master did his homework at Yanzuotai every day at five o'clock. The two tigers in Fuhu Cave listened to his chanting and gradually became wild. In January 1949, Chiang Kai-shek retired to Xikou, and Miaogaotai became his behind-the-scenes command center.


