Plan your itinerary accordingly to avoid disappointment. 2. Respect Religious Sites: When visiting religious sites like Jama Masjid or Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, dress modestly and remove your shoes before entering. Some sites may require head coverings for both men and women 3. Mind Local Customs: Public displays of affection are frowned upon in New Delhi. Greet locals with a 'Namaste' and folded hands instead of handshakes or hugs, especially when interacting with the opposite gender. 4. Beware of Pickpockets: Keep your belongings secure and be cautious in crowded areas like markets and public transport. Use a neck bag under your shirt for important documents, avoid keeping valuables in back pockets, and stay alert to your surroundings. 5. Safe Travel Tips: For safe travel, use registered taxis or ride-sharing apps. Avoid unregistered cabs, especially late at night. Ensure the meter is running or agree on a fare before starting your journey. Share your trip details with a friend or family member, and always check the driver's credentials before getting in.

M.M.R. Maruf
The National Museum in New Delhi offers a fascinating journey through India’s rich history and cultural heritage. With an extensive collection of artifacts, including ancient sculptures, rare manuscripts, and exquisite paintings, it provides deep insights into India’s artistic and historical evolution. The well-organized galleries and informative displays enhance the experience. However, some sections may need better maintenance and interactive.

India Gate

I appreciate the windows of India Gate the most. They are perfect stone carvings! They are shocking. The windows are carved at equal distances. Even if they are processed by modern machines, there will be a large error. But you know, these windows are so exquisite, at least visually, without any difference. It is really shocking.

Red Fort

red fort is one of the most visited place in Delhi. it’s big palace and long history to learn that would let you know more about the great era of India

Qutub Minar

avatar
NuchyKero
"Qutub Minar" is one of the most prominent symbols of Delhi. It was given the status of World Heritage in 1993. It is a tall tower built of red sandstone. And the marble is a tall column. The base end is 14 meters wide, and the upper floor is 2.7 meters wide and a height of 72.5 meters. (About a 20-storey building) This red marble and sandstone tower is the tallest minaret in India and represents the beginning of the country's Muslims rule. It is a very wide and beautiful place. I recommend you to go.

Gurdwara Bangla Sahib

avatar
Melsida
Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib is one of the most revered Sikh temples in Delhi, known for its serene ambiance, sacred tank, and rich history. It's a place of peace, devotion, and selfless service. Visit for a spiritual experience. #SriBanglaSahib #Gurudwara #Delhi #Sikhism #SpiritualJourney #Peace

Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib

avatar
_GG***23
It is a historic Gurudwara and is located in Old Delhi near Chandni Chowk. Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib is located near the Delhi metro and is next to a Mosque and a Temple. Don’t forget to have the ‘langar’ when you visit this place. As a tourist, you must visit Old Delhi and explore the bits you won’t see anywhere else in the world.

Lotus Temple

avatar

The Lotus Temple, a famous landmark in Delhi, also known as the Lingyu Temple, is said to have more visitors than the famous Taj Mahal. The Lotus Temple looks like a blooming lotus flower, symbolizing the mutual tolerance and coexistence of different religions. The "Sydney Opera House" is a "two buildings that can be talked about".

Jama Masjid

An ancient and vicissitudes of must-visit temples. The kindness of ordinary people is small but warm. I bought a bag of 6 breads for a total of 1.8 yuan, deliberately picked the favorite hard, the boss uncle but picked the bag white soft let the change, afraid that the did not understand and pinch with his hands to indicate soft, insisted on him to stop. Milk tea uncle let the Badger finally know that milk tea is generally only 5 cents, before the Badger paid one yuan is not looking back, he took the initiative to find 5 cents.

India Habitat Centre

The Indian Habitat Centre is a cluster of different areas in one. From the Lotus Pond, Visual Arts Gallery to Stein Auditorium and Amphitheatre, this place holds various performances of music, dance, other cultural events and festivals. You must also enjoy the authentic All American Diner. It will take you back to the 60s-70s and take you on an amazing American Breakfast!
