Cochem Castle

I like the quietness here. I drove by car in September 2021 and drove slowly from Paris. I didn't intend to come here to cochem. I spent the night last night, which is very suitable for a place for leisure and healing. Along the river, many small towns. Cochem is the largest here, and there are cruise ships, like morning runs, it is recommended to be by the river in the morning, there are few unmanned cars.



It's a long hike to get to the bridge but it's totally worth it as it's a beautiful walk, the bridge is thrilling and you will find a seating area with tables where you can have a nice picnic as well.You can get with the car as close as possible to reduce your hike, but I definitely recommend the hike.The bridge can be scary for people with fear of heights but if you walk slow you can enjoy it and feel safe.


