U Bein Bridge

U Bein Bridge is a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura in Myanmar. The 1.2-kilometre bridge was built around 1850 and is believed to be the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world.

Mandalay Palace

Mandalay Palace is the palace of the Konbaung Dynasty, the last monarchy in Myanmar. It is located in Aung Myeidasan Town, Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar. It is surrounded by 66th Street in the east, 26th Street in the south, 80th Street in the west, Mandalay Hill in the north, and Kyauktukyi Pagoda and Sadamuni Pagoda in the northeast corner. It was built in 1857 and completed in 1859. The palace is square, 2,000 meters long and wide, with a total area of 4 million square meters, four main gates and eight side gates. The entire building is made of teak, which is not easy to crack and corrosion-resistant. The building is mainly in gold and red, with a high ridge, overlapping roofs, red roofs and walls, and yellow trimmings, showing a style deeply influenced by Buddhist culture. There are halls for the king and ministers to discuss matters, living rooms for the king and concubines, and bathing rooms. The Golden Throne Hall has a gorgeous and exquisite spire supported by 15-meter-high gold-painted pillars. In the center is the king's lion throne and statues of King Mindon and the queen. After Britain annexed Upper Burma in 1885, British troops were stationed in Mandalay Palace. In 1945, the British and its allies bombed Mandalay in an attempt to retake Mandalay from the Japanese, and the palace and part of its walls were severely damaged. In October 1989, the Myanmar government began to rebuild on the original site based on historical pictures and materials, repairing 89 main halls, and opened to the public after completion in September 1996. Opening hours: 7:30-16:00. Ticket information: Tickets are included in the pass, which costs 10,000K. Tour tips: Visitors can only enter and exit from designated entrances and exits and tour designated routes in the park. Climb the 33-meter-high observation tower to overlook the entire palace and the city of Mandalay.

When traveling to Myanmar, I visited the Mahmunie Temple in Mandalay. This temple has a long history. It is just under repair. There are many monks practicing inside. If you take pictures, you will be charged separately. You can put gold foil inside, and it is also charged, but it is not bad to experience it.

Kuthodaw Pagoda

Located at the foot of Mandalay Hill, it was built by King Mindon of Myanmar in 1857. It is the greatest merit pagoda in the world. Its full name is Mahaloka Marajana Pagoda. These stone tablets are known as "the greatest book in the world". Its scale is unique in the Buddhist world. Very beautiful!

Su Taung Pyae Pagoda

You can reach this temple by using the electric stairs. The first thing you have to do when you arrive is to pay the photo fee which is only for tourists. The uncle in charge of collecting the fee is very talkative. Although it is on the mountain, the floor is very clean. The glass brickwork of the temple is very beautiful. The place is not very big, and you can see the scenery below the mountain at the same time. You can use the elevator to leave without taking the stairs.

Mandalay Hill

Mandalay's name also comes from the highest mountain in the city, Mount Mandalay, which passed by when Sakyamuni preached Buddhism, pointing to the vast land under the mountain, predicting that after 2400 years, a bustling city will emerge. Mandalay did not live up to expectations, under King Mindong, 30 years of glory dotted with immortal pages in history.

Hsinbyume Pagoda (Myatheindan Pagoda)

🌟 Highlights: Xinbi Meifota is named for its unique shape, like a cream cake, and its steps look very similar to the shavings of a cream cake, very beautiful. Xinbimei Buddha is a very rare tower to climb, Myanmar's towers are mostly can not climb, rare to have a tower to climb, very like.

Sandamuni Pagoda

The Sandamuni Temple is really similar to the Cook Dover Tower, and the location is so close. In the end, I couldn't tell whether the two places were confused by their memory. They all need white towers, which is simply a punching place for literary and fresh tourists. Rows of white towers along the way are a must-take scene for photography enthusiasts. I saw many excellent photos in tripadvisor , but unfortunately it was rainy and rainy on the day of the visit. Even if the dry season came, there was still a chance to rain.
