Wind and beautiful day. I like to take a walk to the botanical garden and breathe the fresh air. Peacock sculpture or other countries give it? The shape is very retro and elegant, and New Zealand is a flower city. Your climate and warm sea breeze make the flowers here colorful.



Punting On The Avon (Antigua Boat Sheds)

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing punting on the Avon River in Christchurch, and it was an absolutely delightful way to explore the city. The journey itself was serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.Our guide, dressed in traditional Edwardian attire, expertly navigated the flat-bottomed boat with a long pole, allowing us to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. We drifted past lush greenery, charming bridges, and historic architecture, all of which created a postcard-perfect backdrop. The gentle pace of the punting made it easy to fully appreciate the beauty of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and the calm waters of the river.The entire experience was wonderfully calming, yet never dull. Our guide shared interesting tidbits about the area’s history and natural features, making the trip both relaxing and educational. It’s the kind of activity that feels timeless—no rush, no stress, just the simple pleasure of gliding through a scenic waterway.Overall, I’d highly recommend punting on the Avon to anyone visiting Christchurch. It’s a unique and charming way to see the city, and it’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families alike. I came away feeling refreshed, with a newfound appreciation for Christchurch’s natural beauty and historic charm.



Very distinctive. As a building reconstructed after the earthquake, the cardboard outlines a strong shape, which is environmentally friendly and beautiful. And it’s not afraid of earthquakes, it’s very interesting. Now there is a small market at the door.



The retro tram is a beautiful scenery in Christchurch. 2.6 kilometers away, $25 fare, around the city center for a week, connecting the main attractions, can be unlimited rides at 17 stations in one day. On the slow journey, accompanied by the sound of "jingling", listening to the explanation of the driver of the car, watching the beautiful scenery along the street, unknowingly came to the next attraction, it was really affordable, comfortable and interesting.



It turns out that the scenery is not as good as described on the Internet. In fact, the scenery while driving in New Zealand is not worse than this. Anyway, it's OK. It was quite quiet on the way there, but on the way back, a Chinese tour group got on and made a lot of noise, which reduced the experience of this train.



You will be slowly be brought along the water quietly past woodlands, weeping willows with the leafy banks of North Hagley Park along side the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. You can also take a Punt ride from Worcester Street Bridge through Christchurch’s central city.



Come to Europe's city. The most unmissable thing is the big square in the city center. I feel that all the people in the afternoon like to experience life leisurely here. All kinds of sculptures are full of energy. Occasionally passing by the retro tram.


