Heidelberg Palace

The Heidelberg Palace is a must see when visiting Heidelberg. To get there 🥾: you can take a cablecar from the old town. However, I would recommend to skip the queue and just enjoy the around 15min walk up. You will pass by beautiful old villas on the way. What to do 🏰: In my opinion the outside appearance of the castle is more beautiful than the inside. So it’s not worth to spend the entrance fee for a ticket inside. The garden around the castle is free to enter and has great views.



Student Jail (Studentenkarzer)

I went over to see it. I want tickets, 3 euros a person, which is a bit unworthy. It is a place where students are closed. But it is not managed very tightly, students will be very free inside, and they will be proud of being closed.



Luisenpark

The prettiest park I’ve been to in Germany. A nice walk is recommended. You will surely enjoy the beautiful flowers and the chirping birds.



Heidelberger Altstadt

The old town of Heidelberg was not destroyed on a large scale during World War II. The old feeling is still visible. In the Holy Roman Empire, the imperial princes built many towering castles and flavorful cities. Heidelberg has the opportunity to see it.

This is definitely worth a visit! It is a landmark building in Mannheim, located in the central square of Mannheim. The sculptures on the square are also very impressive. It was just in time for the Christmas market, and there was a festive atmosphere! Great!



It is definitely worth a visit! It is now the University of Mannheim, with a Baroque architectural style. Unfortunately, the museum inside is now closed and will not reopen until January next year. The overall impression is very impressive. It must be great to study here! Great!
