Parque de los Pies Descalzos

Barefoot Park is a city park in Bogota. It is very large and is the favorite place for Bogota people to visit in their daily lives. A light show is held here at a fixed time every year. There are many beautiful colored lights, most of which reflect Colombian folklore and mythology. The lights are very beautiful.

This is a well managed museum with some works by Botero, some donated by Botero to European and American artists, as well as some local murals and paintings. The building itself is a republican public building overlooking the Plaza Botero. The guides were all very passionate about Botero and it was infectious!

Like all the other tourist attractions in Medellin, this is a plaza you have to visit. It is a well maintained plaza with several statues of Botero. Yes it is crowded but it is worth your while to spend 15 minutes to see the place.

Thanks to the foresight of a doctor, the castle has been lovingly maintained and offers a special insight into recent history. Filled with furniture, treasures from the past and gorgeous gardens, the castle tells the story of a family.

This is a must see, and (don't forget) climb the Guatape Rock. Guatape itself is certainly a beautiful and colorful town. However, it looks a bit "mixed in" with the touristy stuff

Pueblito Paisa

The town on the hillside has a good view. It is said that you can overlook the city of Medellin 360 degrees. What I like is the colorful huts, the old wooden corridors are full of flowers and potted plants, very Yunnan style.

Plaza Mayor

Medellin's Mayor's Square is the largest municipal square here, and the city government in Medellin is also in this square. The whole square is very lively for a day. The square is crowded with a variety of shops and is one of the must-visit places for tourists.
