Had a fabulous trek into Bako National park and we got to see lots of different animals and creatures including the elusive Proboscis Monkey which I got an awesome video of. Green vipers everywhere! Flying Lemurs, spiders amongst other things. I’d say you need to be quite able to navigate the trek up and down the thick tree roots but overall, a welcome relief from the city to get into the forest and it isn’t too hard work.

Thank you, Damai Beach resort for a lovely few days.Wish we had longer there,Yes, a few things need fixing up, but did not bother us.The room was lovely, very spacious ,clean, and the bed was very comfy.The food was good, plenty of choice.The staff was lovely and friendly,All ways had a smile for us.Yes, there is rules, but after reading them, I could understand why they have them , none of them I would do while on holiday so no worries there.Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Margaret Castle is right next to the Legislative Assembly Building. It was difficult to get a Grab when leaving! We took a boat to the north bank of the Sarawak River, passed a small village and an abandoned school, and saw it! After two years of repairs, the exterior wall has been completely renewed. This is an important barrier against pirate invasions. During World War II, the Japanese army attempted to blow it up but failed. It has now been converted into a police museum.

Cat Monument This attraction is too cute. If it is a cat slave, you can’t miss it. It’s a cute sculpture. It’s very cute and detailed. The inquiry is very high when taking pictures. The city is very clean and tidy. I am very satisfied.
