Nairobi National Park

Our tour guide took us to this national park on our last few days of being in Kenya. Although it wasn’t as vast as the parks we went to in Maasai Mara, it was still stunning to see the animals. We saw a male lion, and other herbivores. Great experience.



Lake Nakuru

Excellent location for bird spotting. A lot of different varieties of birds ranging from fish eagles to herons to Egyptian geese to woodpeckers. The list is long. You have a good chance of seeing the fish eagles hunt and as a bonus, you can find a lot of hippopotamuses in the lake.



It is located south of the city - that's what makes it special. If you want a true wilderness escape or safari trip, then visit this park. There are all kinds of wild animals here, big and small, from lions to hyenas, giraffes to warthogs, caged snakes to "millipedes", baboons to monkeys, gazelles to antelopes... and more than 400 species of birds. Our interaction with the animals was smooth and friendly - keeping a safe distance from the animals. The guides were knowledgeable about all the details of the wildlife. Plan a day and visit the park, I promise it will be worth your time. It will give you more reasons to appreciate nature and wildlife.

[View] Kenyatta International Conference Center is the highest point in Nairobi. It's amazing, you can see every corner of the city and open your eyes as far as you can. It's so beautiful.

Lake Naivasha
