Tasik Melati Recreational Park

Tasik Melati is now one of the famous tourist destinations in the state of Perlis which is always the focus for family leisure and recreation activities. This lake is located on Jalan Santan, 10 KM from Bandar Kangar. Originally Tasik Melati was an abandoned lake or swamp filled with wild plants called kercit. This lake never dries up and is the main source of water for farmers for agricultural activities The Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) began developing this swamp in 1977 by building a main dam to raise the water level to supply water to the 350-acre rice crop area

Kota Kayang Museum

The Chinese name is the Gotha Jiayu Museum, and I have done a lot of homework seriously: According to historical records, the 4.84 hectare area where the state museum is located was once a closed place of Syed Salim bin Syed Muhammad al-Jafri given by the king to his brother and prime minister. In the late 19th century, the mansion was built on the sealing ground and the family moved in. The land was sold to the state government only after the Treaty of Man (Bangkok Treaty) was concluded in 1909. Since then, the mansion has become the official residence of the British adviser to the state government. Before the outbreak of World War II in 1941, the first British adviser and his successors lived here; between 1941 and 1943, the residence was occupied by the Japanese military department, and between 1943 and 1945 by the Thai military government. After independence, Malaysia was settled by the Governor of Glass. In the early 1980s, after the governor moved out, it became a well-known hotel. In 1991, the palace was demolished and the current state museum was built, exactly the same as the old house. The glass city cultural relics center (Kompleks Warisan Negeri) is also in the museum.

A very nice and educational tourist spot. You must follow the rules inside so that the animals there are not disturbed, especially the prohibition on certain animals that should not be fed (many do not follow the rules).

Great pace for kids or someone who love to see fishes a lot. It's about the same as anywhere else in the world go see all these fishes.
