It is worth going. Not only can you meet the ancient city wall, but you can also feel the unique history of the century-old town, the mysterious meat street, and the raindrops under the eaves take you into the magic world!



My first time visiting this tower ,all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful .We really enjoyed visiting this beautiful piece of history and we adore york. Was so happy to know it is english heritage so everytime we go somewhere we try and make use out of our membership.Was a wonderful structure been made for the stairs nice and strong. We enjoyed the roof top being able to have a clear 360 view was magnificent well worth all the climbing up both stairs .



Burton Agnes Hall It is a large-scale magnificent building. If you come by car, you can see the eye-catching brick red from the road. The decoration inside is more retro and has a strong view. The most important thing is that there is a large lawn open space outside, which has a unique beauty.



I heard that Shambles Street is a good place to visit, and when I actually went there, there were a lot of shops to visit, so it was nice! I heard that it is famous for its ghost shops, but there was a long line in front, so I couldn't go in.



Walk about five minutes from York Station, go to platform 11, cross the overpass, there are signs, it is easy to see. There are not many people, I didn't make an appointment to go directly in. There are a lot of local elderly and children, but watch quietly. The history of the train is clear at a glance, and the knowledge is increased. Half of the backbone of European railways comes from Britain, and the trains and train technology that existed more than a hundred and fifty years ago are truly admirable.



polite staff and very interesting place, nice few hours spent with the family. museum staff are dressed in costumes. well recommended
