Gesar City

Gesar Wangcheng is located in the southeast of Ganzi County, Sichuan Province, built on the site of Gesar's epic "Huoling War". It officially started construction in June 2017, with 1455 mu of planned land and fixed investment of about 300 million yuan. It is the largest industrial poverty alleviation project and cultural tourism project in Ganzi County. In May 2020, Gesar Wangcheng Scenic Area met the requirements of the national 4A-level tourist scenic spot standard and was determined to be a national 4A-level tourist scenic spot.



Ganzi Temple is one of the 13 temples in Hall (Mongolia), belonging to the Gelu school. Because I can't find the road to drive up the mountain, I only have to walk to the temple. The houses along the way are clean and beautiful. Standing on the platform in front of the temple, you can overlook the entire Ganzi County.



N years ago, the first time I crossed from Ganzi County to Seda, I walked the Dairy Farmers Shenshan, one of the 8 major Shenshans in Tibetan areas. The road was rotten and people remembered it. After a few years, I passed this road again, and people had to feel what is called infrastructure mad.



Please be careful for altitude sickness, please bring along the oxygen is very important overall the place is very worth the price is like you going to Switzerland but in china versio 7/10 i give 7/10 because i had a very bad altitude sickness but overall 10/10 for the scenery



10/3/2025 after you entered the entrance you need to to take the tourist bus for 1 hr then only u arrive the actual place .. the scenery is very very very beautiful, the place is not that high altitude but because of the cold weather make you in shortness of breath but after a while your body will adapt with it. For who that having motion sickness better take your med like me also vomit and feel very dizzy after took the bus. When you reach the food hall u need to purchase another ticket cost 30 rmb for buggy car to go to actual place wich is not included what you pay in Trip.com for admission at first entrance
