Shymbulak

I went to Almaty this summer. The plane had to fly over the Tianshan Mountains. In fact, the Tianshan Mountains have been extending throughout Kazakhstan. When traveling in Almaty, Qiongbulak is a magnificent attraction that must be visited! Otherwise, it is a waste of time! Qiongbulak area is extremely magnificent! You can experience four seasons in one day, and the weather is different every ten miles! You can always encounter the strange phenomenon of sunrise in the east and rain in the west... You can take the aerial cable car directly to the foot of the glacier at an altitude of nearly 3,000 meters. Qiongbulak Ski Resort is definitely an ideal ski resort with good climatic conditions, an average temperature of 20℃ in summer and 7℃ in winter, a snow depth of up to 150 cm, and more than 300 days of sunny days a year. It provides a variety of services and facilities, including cable car services, hotel accommodation and many restaurants and cafes. In summer, you can also take a cable car tour, hike, and challenge paragliding, etc. Therefore, to explore the natural wonders of Almaty, Kazakhstan, Qiongbulak Snow Mountain Cable Car is definitely an adventure you cannot miss!

Big Almaty Lake

Different seasons, the big Almaty map brings us a different feeling. The water in the big Almaty Lake in autumn is more, and the summer is relatively less, because many parts are discharged to the city for water supply. The big Almaty Lake is full again in autumn because of the melting of ice and snow.

The National Museum of Almaty is the Central National Museum of Kazakhstan, located in Almaty City, one of the largest museums in Central Asia. Founded in 1931, the museum contains models of the main historical buildings of Kazakhstan, a number of historical relics of the Genghis Khan period, weapons and costumes and musical instruments, etc., and is an important display window for Kazakhstan's history, culture and politics. The museum's collection was originally in Orenburg in the 1930s, when the Orenburg Museum established the Neplyev Military Academy, which collected a large number of historical relics from Kazakhstan. After the completion of the museum's construction in 1935, the collection was transferred to the museum. Today, the museum collects more than 3,000 artifacts and exhibits, which can be described as a great collection of pavilions. The museum is divided into three floors and has multiple exhibition halls, including the paleontology and archaeology exhibition halls. In addition, the museum has 7 exhibition areas and 11 exhibition halls, covering ancient centuries, medieval times, national traditions, history and culture, the history of the founding of Kazakhstan and other exhibition areas. Visitors can learn more about the history and cultural development of Kazakhstan. The National Museum of Almaty is open from 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Sunday throughout the year. The ticket price is 500 tenge (about 8 yuan). Accessibility facilities are also available in the museum, including accessible parking, accessible entrances and accessible toilets, which are convenient for visitors.

Zenkov's Cathedral

Panfilov 28 Warrior Park, located in Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan. It is an Orthodox church and very beautiful. The second tallest wooden building in the world is one of the eight specially constructed churches in the world, with a beautiful Pigeon Square next to it. Attractions are free.

28 Panfilov Guardsmen Park

Panfilov 28 Warrior Memorial Park is a city park in Kazakhstan located in the middle of Almaty. The eternal flame of the World War II memorial to the fallen soldiers burned in front of a huge black monument from all 15 Soviet republics. Almaty Ascension Cathedral is also located in Panfilov Park.

Kok Tobe

If you want to overlook the entire city of Almaty, then KokTobe Park is the place to go. The park is located on the top of KokTobe Mountain, 1,100 meters above sea level. Get in the cable car, accompanied by beautiful dombra music, as the altitude continues to rise, the whole city begins to slowly appear at your feet. The top of the mountain is not only a great place to overlook Almaty, but also a magnificent panoramic view of the foothills of Zailiysky Alatau, which is more beautiful than any other angle in the city.

Charyn Canyon

The last stop of the 5-day Golden Route is the Charyn Canyon, which is known as the Little Grand Canyon of the United States. There were only three of us, and the environment was so cool. The jagged rocks can give full play to your imagination. There are many routes to choose from, and our guide challenged our outdoor abilities as always 😬

Medeu

Medeo is a comprehensive sports center located in the Medeo Scenic Area. Medeo is not only the venue for many ice sports events, but also a good place for the people of Kazakhstan to go for winter fitness and skating. There is also a dam built between the two mountains to prevent mudslides. There are 842 steps leading to the top of the dam, and you can overlook the scenery of the entire stadium from the dam.

Central Park

The park is large and free, with fountains and green areas. If you want to play recreational projects, you have to pay extra. You can buy a park card to recharge, and the price is not expensive. There is a road next to it that leads directly to the zoo, which is also free. Although it is a bit old, there are still many kinds of animals, and I was even surprised that there were marine animals.
