The large-scale parent-child agricultural science and entertainment complex in western Guangdong is a key construction project of Guangdong Province in 2020. It is jointly developed and constructed by the South Asian Tropical Crops Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences and Zhanjiang Huarong Group. It is located at the intersection of Shugang Avenue and South Asia Avenue, with a planned total area of ​​1,800 acres.

The project is positioned as "inheriting history, agricultural science display, and ecological tourism" as its overall positioning. It plans to build it into a Guangdong-level tropical agricultural cultural and museum base, a Guangdong-level agricultural and tourism integration innovation demonstration base, integrating parent-child agricultural education, research and study for primary and secondary school students, agricultural development and other interactive projects, combining knowledge popularization with play experience, so that children can learn more scientific knowledge while having fun, and become the third classroom for cultivating the all-round development of children and young people.

Currently, the first phase has opened a number of amusement projects including the Parent-Child Park, Bird Park, and Cute Pet Park, covering an area of ​​about 400 acres. The second phase Toyota Farm Lane, Study Base, Happy Town, Water Park, etc. are under planning and construction and will be opened one after another in the next two years.
