Pigeon Tower

Yazd had a pigeon tower, and the dense nest could not only accommodate 10,000 pigeons at the time, and made it not threatened by natural enemies (the eagles and other raptors could not enter), but also specially designed internal structures such as spiral ladders for people to visit. To prevent tens of thousands of pigeons from taking off at the same time, the tower's safety is threatened, and the designer also uses vaults to connect the tower's internal and external walls.

The pigeon house is made of this clay, which is also insulated, and because of this material, the snake can't climb in and will fall. If it is replaced by other materials, the snake will climb in and eat the pigeon.

The pigeon tower, built hundreds of years ago, is no longer pigeon. There are more than 3,000 pigeons inside.
