Nanwan Monkey Island is located about 14 kilometers south of Lingshui County, Hainan Province, Nanwan Peninsula, surrounded by the sea on three sides, is China and the world's only island-type macaque nature reserve. There are nearly 400 tropical plants on the island, nearly 100 animals, the original natural environment and more than 2,500 national two-class protected animal macaques, so people call it "Monkey Island". It is the only island-type macaque nature protection scenic spot in China. The seaside project developed in Phase II, The romantic Tianyuan Scenic Area is also open to the public. Since the scenic spot is on the peninsula, if you want to enter the monkey island, you can choose to take the sightseeing cableway to the scenic spot directly, or choose to take the boat to the pier of the peninsula, and then take the scenic sightseeing bus to Nanwan Monkey Island.
