Japan has changed to the solar calendar since the Meiji Restoration. The custom of using the lunar calendar is slowly changed to the New Year's Day. However, the "Burning Festival" of the Shrine is still held every year from the seventh to the ninth of the Lunar New Year. The burnt offering starts at 0:00 on the seventh day of the new year and ends at 24:00 on the new year's new year. It lasts for 72 hours. 800 vendors lined up on both sides of the road about 1 km in front of the shrine. Come and pray for the smooth, prosperous business, good health and safe family throughout the year.

This neighborhood is quite famous shrine, there are a lot of people who go to visit, and there are long queues for several hours in the New Year to finish the visit. It is quite big inside. Tourists who come to travel may wish to see it!
One of the many local shrines in Japan is beautiful.
