    Visit the flower festival day

    Original Text

A flower festival sponsored by the Suita City Buddhist Church was held on April 8, 2022, and the musical "Ai Sei-Oh ~ Wangsha Castle Tragedy ~" of the theater company Otome was performed in the second part. I visited Joko Enmanji Temple to receive the ticket I had reserved in advance on the day, and then visited the precincts. The cute Jizo and the statue of training Daishi (Kobo Daishi) were impressive.

    Nirvana statue

    Original Text

Joko Enmanji is a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect located about a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It is a historic temple opened by Gyoki in 736. It is also the family temple of Mr. Suita, Shogun Ashikaga. There is also Nio at the mountain gate. A cute Jizo is enshrined in front of the temple. A golden reclining statue was enshrined in the relic hall. Several young people were worshiping. It is a power spot that gives happiness.

    a big temple.

    Original Text

It is an unexpectedly large shrine that takes about 10 minutes on foot from Suita Station. When you enter the gate, a quiet space spreads out and it is a place where you can relax.

    Original Text

It is a temple of the Shingon sect in the old town of Suita City, about a 10-minute walk from JR Suita Station. The side facing the street looks like a normal building other than the mountain gate, but once you enter the mountain gate, you will see a completely different calm landscape.

    Big.

    Original Text

I stopped by here while working, but I wondered if there was such a big temple in Suita. Also, the homepage is a must-see. It feels like a modern temple.
