Located in the south of Cahir, South Tipperary, Ireland, the Swiss lodge was built around 1810 and was a popular decorative cabin, wooden structure, curved thatched roof, ornate interior decoration, used by local nobles to receive guests. The cabin was later restored and opened to the public as an attraction since 1989.
