Being placed on the lake of the same name making the area calm for an exit from the city area. The monastery is a great historical monument in the vicinity of Bucharest. You can also get there by bus 466 from Piața Presei station, taking about an hour or more depending on traffic. Then another two kilometers round trip on foot.
