　When I ran from the city of Shizunai in Shinhidaka Town toward Cape Erimo, I passed a bridge over the Shizunai River. After crossing the bridge and turning left, the road became uphill, and the area where I climbed was a park called Maka Park. Facilities such as the Ainu Folk Museum were scattered in the park, and at the southern end there was Shizunai Park with bright red and white. Nearby, there was an observatory overlooking the town of Shizunai, and there was also a tower of Yucal and a statue of Shakushine.

　Head south from the city of Shizunai, the central city of Shinhidaka Town, and cross the bridge over the Shizunai River. After that, on the road to the hill on the left, I arrived at the fairly large Maka Park. The park is dotted with Ainu-related facilities such as the Shakushine Memorial Hall, the Ainu Folk Museum, several towers and statues, and there was also a lighthouse and an observatory at the northwest end of the park.
