Nanhu Park

Nanhu Park, also known as Nanhu Ecological Botanical Garden, is located in the south of the county. It is a forestry demonstration park for Shandan to experiment and promote new varieties of flower species. It was renovated and expanded by Lama Kongquan. It was built in 1982. So far, it has formed an area of 200,000 square meters, nearly 20 scenic spots, and more than 10 amusement projects. In the Ming Dynasty, the tower was rebuilt on the base of the found tower, and it was later destroyed by an earthquake. In 2004, various funds were raised to rebuild on the south side of the park. The tower is more than five feet high and in the shape of a bottle. The tower base is nearly two feet high and has three floors. The tower is more than two feet tall, in the shape of a bottle belly, and the top of the tower is about ten feet high and in the shape of an umbrella. There are wind chimes on the top, swaying in the wind, and the sound reverberates through the city, with a magnificent momentum. The interior is a double-layered structure with overhanging eaves and a steel-framed glass roof. The hall in the hall is divided into upper and lower floors, with a total of 20 rooms. In front of the hall, precious flowers and trees are cultivated, and lawns are planted. In the lawn are carved stone sculptures such as Huo Qubing's Expedition to the West, Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty summoning the envoys of the twenty-seven countries in the Western Regions, Zhang Qian's mission to the Western Regions, Rewi Alley and Shandan.
