Sonneveld House

You get the idea of how the family lived here back then, and what’s the most incredible thing they moved here leaving all their possessions behind to start fresh with a fully modern furnished house for that time. Many gadgets and interesting things are still used nowadays, some stuff is so high end that we hardly ever see it today in everybody’s home.

Not far from the museum, there is a Soren Verr Apartment (House Sonneveld), which belongs to the museum management. The tickets are universal. We will get off work immediately and take a look. The apartment was built in 1930, which may be the model of the apartment in Rotterdam at that time, but in today's eyes, it is not backward.
