MoreBeiyue Temple is located in Quyang County, Baoding City. It is the place where emperors from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty worshipped the Northern Mountain Hengshan. The current temple was first built in the Northern Wei Dynasty and has been repaired in various dynasties in history. The existing buildings are mainly in the style of the Yuan Dynasty and are very old. The entire temple is simple and elegant. It is a good place to visit the ancient monuments, take photos and learn about history.
The highlight of visiting Beiyue Temple is the numerous stone carvings in the temple. There are 160 pieces of inscriptions, including steles, pagodas, stone carvings, etc. dating back more than 1,500 years from the Northern Wei Dynasty to before the founding of New China. Most of them are steles to record reconstructions and inscriptions of impressions after visiting here. There are various calligraphy fonts such as cursive, regular, and official scripts. It is a treasure trove for observing calligraphy and understanding history. It is very precious and can be viewed one by one.
The murals in the main hall of Beiyue Temple are also very precious, such as the "huge dragon" in the painting "Clouds and Rain", and the "flying gods" in the mural "All Nations in Peace", all of which are painted with unique personality and very vivid. The "God of Hengshan, Beiyue, Going Out on a Parade" on the wall of Beishan is even more spectacular. It is said to be painted by the painter Wu Daozi himself. You can take a good look at it.
On the west side of the Beiyue Temple entrance, there is a Quyang County Museum, which displays some Quyang cultural relics, mainly the famous Quyang stone carvings, which you can visit as well.

The tour time is one hour, there are many monuments in it, there are many famous works in the Song and Yuan Dynasty. The temple of the Yuan Dynasty is complete, and some murals can be seen inside. The statue and half of the murals cannot be seen during maintenance.
Convenient and easy to use. The murals of Beiyue Temple are great, the real thing cannot be photographed, and the staff monitors it. He said that he would take pictures of the Linyi products in the exhibition hall at the back. There are many scattered stone monuments and stone components in the stone carving area, which is worth seeing. It is very close to the Xiude Temple Tower and suitable for visiting together.
Quyang Beiyue Temple, from Dingzhou Bus Station, take a long-distance bus for 9 yuan, about 45 minutes to Quyang Bus Station, and then dd eight yuan to Beiyue Temple, when I went, I just opened the door, the whole venue is only me alone, equal to the private browsing, the experience is very good! The temple of Dening, the ridge top of the nine ridges, magnificent and majestic, the murals inside Wu Belt and the wind, it is worth a visit!
Don't miss it if you like Wenbo, the ticket price is slightly higher. The focus is on the Temple of Dening, but the statue in the main hall is being remodeled and the taste is a bit heavy. The road at the door is chaotic and parking is chaotic.
I planned a long trip, but the trigger was actually just another outdoor organization. I didn't want to go with a group of people and didn't sign up to organize a self-driving trip. The result was just in time for the Lantern Festival event. The traffic of people in one day was comparable to a year.
