Qiqihar Museum

Qiqihar Museum is located at No. 1 Zhonghua Road, Jianhua District, at the intersection of Bukui Street and Zhonghua Road, the main urban road in the central city. It opened on August 26, 2003, including the main building with a construction area of ​​11,000 square meters and the former site of the Heilongjiang Governor's Office, a cultural heritage building with a construction area of ​​1,214 square meters. It is a member unit of the China Museum Association. It has six departments: General Office, Collection Research Department, Education and Information Department, Nature and Curatorship Department, Art Exchange Department, and Security Technology Department.

Qiqihar Museum has always fully implemented the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era, strengthened the "four consciousnesses", strengthened the "four self-confidences", and achieved the "two safeguards". It has always conscientiously implemented the important instructions and instructions on cultural relics work, performed outstandingly in various tasks decided and deployed by the Party Central Committee, actively played the role of propaganda, and made outstanding contributions in major events such as the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China.

The basic exhibition "The Narrative of Nenjiang Civilization - Qiqihar Historical Relics Exhibition" was officially launched in August 2006. The exhibition tells the history of Qiqihar from a chronological perspective, from the Paleolithic Age, Neolithic Age, Bronze Age, Early Iron Age, through the Tang, Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, to modern times, until the founding of New China, covering more than 20,000 years of Qiqihar's historical and cultural essence. Participated in the "Seventh National Museum Top Ten Exhibition Selection" organized by the Ministry of Culture and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and won the "Audience Popularity Award".

The former site of Heilongjiang Military Governor's Office is an important part of Qiqihar Museum. It is the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units (number 16897-1689-5-082), with a construction area of ​​1,214 square meters. The former site of Heilongjiang Military Governor's Office was originally the private residence of the deputy governor built in the 11th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1806 AD), also known as the adults' mansion. In the late Qing Dynasty, Cheng Dequan, the acting governor of Heilongjiang, began to build on this basis, and Zhou Shumo continued to build it after he became the governor. During the Anti-Japanese War, this was the Jiangqiao Anti-Japanese War Command Post of General Ma Zhanshan. The basic exhibition "Memory of the Republic of China-Restored Exhibition of Heilongjiang Military Governor's Office" was officially exhibited to the public on May 18, 2017.

Qiqihar City Museum (Qiqihar City Art Museum) was officially opened on November 22, 2016. It has an exhibition hall area of ​​400 square meters and hosts highly professional art, calligraphy and photography exhibitions all year round.

The temporary exhibition hall in the main building, the sun hall, and the corridor extension exhibition hall have hosted hundreds of temporary exhibitions over the years, covering various fields such as folklore, art, science, history, party history, industry and agriculture.
