Good for a quick stop
Not a spectacular lighthouse itself but an easy walk and some very nice views from there. It was part of a tour stop for us and very informative by our tour guide from Islay Private Tours.
For lighthouse lovers
A beautiful view of the lighthouse from Rhinns Point. There were lots of gray seals on the rocks and playing in the water, as well.
Shinning Light
Read the inscription on the Tower to a much loved Lady. Not to be visited on a stormy day unless on the shore
Lovely views of the lighthouse towards Port Ellen
The lighthouse itself is not too far from the mani road but not too easy to find. WE were lucky when we visited as the setting could not be better.
Nice destination
Nice destination for a walk from the main road. The walkway out to the lighthouse itself, over he rocks. Decent views over the bay to Port Ellen. Ferries come by quite close which is quite interesti...
