Where water fed the city
Remnants of junction point for aqueducts that fed the city from Roman times. It's fenced off with placards in French and English explaining its significance. It's just outside the college/old citadel ...
After 2000 years, this Roman water-distribution system is still intact, minus the lead pipes. It's within walking distance of the old city, straight up a hill.
It is a little bit of an uphill walk and could have been hard to find without a map on the phone but definitely worth it for anyone interested in Roman engineering. There is not a huge amount to see ...
