    Peaceful Temple Grounds

    We stopped at Hoko ji on the way to cherry picking. The temple was gorgeous and peaceful among the cedars. We were the only ones there and enjoyed the quiet reflection the temple inspired.

    It is a Buddha Temple that is said to have been founded in the 13th century. The three-storied pagoda, completed in 1949, was wonderful. Located in a remote place, you can feel a good atmosphere.
