    Real beautiful

Just one of the many nicely decorated interiors in the rebuilded warehouses on Deshima. It makes you wonder how the completely re-established Deshima will look like when the whole project is finished.

Otome is the person who was in charge of the practice of the Japanese side in Dejima.

There was a Machiya-style building near the capitan room in Dejima, Nagasaki. This was the Otome room. Otome is a person who was in charge of the practice of the Japanese side in Dejima. I was able to tour the inside, but it was only used by Japanese people, and the inside of the townhouse-style exterior was also a Japanese house with tatami mats. Not to mention that Otome used it as a residence, it was also exhibited that it was used as a safe guard official's workplace and a watchman's lock in Dejima.

it was a building that was a cage for Japanese officials going in and out of dejima.

    Original Text

At first, I wondered what "Otome" was. "Otome" is said to be a person in charge of trade affairs and management on the Japanese side in Dejima. Therefore, this Otome room is the building where Otome was based. Inside the building, I introduced the work of Otome in an easy-to-understand manner. Not only in this Otome room, but also the glass at that time was reproduced in Dejima. Unlike modern glass plates, it's wavering. Remember that the glass of my house in the Showa period was a little distorted ...
