Zenkō-ji Temple

Zenkoji Temple, located in Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture, is a Buddhist temple with a history of more than 1,400 years. Interestingly, Zenko-ji Temple has no sect. It is said that people of all faiths from all over the country can come to the temple to worship. Therefore, there are more than 6 million people who visit Zenko-ji Temple every year. Zenkoji Temple mainly enshrines Amitabha Buddha, but this Buddha statue is a secret Buddha and is only open to the public on certain days, and is hidden in the temple on weekdays. The altar worships with devotion. If you encounter the big lock directly below the Buddha statue on the top of your head during the tour, you can enter the paradise of bliss behind you.
