A little south of Hotel Wing International Miyakonojo where we were staying, there was Shinjuku Park. This shrine, Shinjukugu, was built in the park. It is a shrine with a magnificent shrine that feels prestigious. There was a wide street facing the front of the shrine, and there was a large torii gate across the road.
There was a big torii gate on the road to the shrine.

There was this shrine, Shinbashiragu, around hundreds of m in the south of Miyakonojo Station. This shrine seems to be read as "Kanbashiraguu". There was a large Shinbashira Park surrounding the shrine. Founded 11 This shrine, which has a century and old history, had a style. I wonder if it was the approach, there was a fairly large torii gate on the road from the south side to the shrine.
I visited for the first time immediately after the date of New Year's Day changed. To be honest, there are few people and it is quiet, and I think it is a little-known spot because you can visit without waiting.
I worshiped at 6 in the morning. The day before, I visited the memorial monument of the special attack base at Miyazaki Airport, prayed for my soul, and made me think about Japan. This shrine is the shrine of Amaterasu Kodaijin and Toyokehime Okami, so it was perfect for thinking about Japan. While taking a walk early in the morning, I was able to feel that Japan is now supported by many people.

I recommend an early morning walk.
