Mahamuni Temple

After years of accumulation, the thickness of the gold leaf has exceeded 16 cm, and the entire Buddha statue body has changed shape, which also shows the incense of this Buddhist temple.

The temple is a large temple in Mandela. Men can buy gold foils to put gold on the Buddha, and women can only watch outside, not close to the Buddha. There are quite a few monks living around the Mahmud Pagoda because they think they can get shelter from the Buddha.
