Main Peak of Laoshan Mountain

On February 17, 1979, the People's Liberation Army launched a self-defense counter-attack from Yunnan and Guangxi. In 1984, it recovered the territory of Laoshan and other territories. The main peak of Laoshan was once the main battlefield. Now it is still touched by the revolutionary spirit of the PLA soldiers who bravely sacrificed their blood and fought. The conditions of the cat's ear holes here are very difficult, but the soldiers do not flinch in the face of suffering.

There was fierce fighting here in the year, and many young PLA soldiers sacrificed their young lives in order to defend the motherland and the happiness and well-being of the people. They are the proud sons of New China. Today's happy life is also written by them with their lives. Visiting here should not forget these martyrs first.

 麻栗坡老山，耸立在祖国的南疆，是一块古老、神奇、英雄辈出的热土，八十年代那场战争使老山一夜成名。 　　     麻栗坡老山县距昆明414公里，位于中越边境第二段12号国界碑之间中方一侧，天保口岸东北部。峰海拔1422米。面积约8平方公里，因山上古木密集而得名，有着悠久的历史。不仅地理位置重要而且旅游资源丰富，无论是自然景观，还是人为景观，都蕴藏着独特而诱人的魅力，加之紧邻越南的区位优势，开展跨国旅游非常方便，越南的风土人情和异国情调，使麻栗坡旅游空间更加广阔。 　　     麻栗坡县老山省级风景名胜区，由老山、南温河、大王岩、下金厂、新寨五个片区42个景点组成，面积约180平方公里。主要景观有：老山自卫反击战遗址、有61平方公里范围的老君山林海、奇特幽深的溶洞群、猫猫跳峡谷、变幻万千的云海、珍稀植物、天保边贸口岸等，是边贸购物，跨国旅游，地质科考，生物多样性考察、观赏的好去处。 　

号称“风景区”，完全没有景区管理，除周末外，进入“景区”需要预约，但既不告知需要预约，也不告知预约方式（除非你几十公里山路到了大门口才能知晓）。还真没见过如此不欢迎游客的钱“景区”！
