The area of this island is about 1000 meters long and 200 meters wide. It is a very cost-effective holiday place. One room and one night accommodation start at about 45 US dollars. There are two main reasons for choosing Mafushi. 1. Experience the local humanities in the Maldives. 2. Hotels, water projects and food are cheaper. This time I went to Madai to take wedding photos. Since the team is based on the island, the first island chose Kanduma. After going to Mafushi, 6 days and 5 nights, staying at the Sun Tan Hotel not far from the pier. Mafushi's overall impression: there are many hotels and restaurants in the west of the island. There is also a beach in the northwest where you can wear a bikini. The overall environment is far better than the east of the island. It takes about 50 minutes to ride the whole island for a week, and it is the largest residential island in the Maldives. Consumption: The price is much cheaper than the resort. For example, two people on Paragliding Kangduma Island include tax 220USD, and two people in Ma Fushi are about 100USD; Diving license PADI OW, the price of the certificate in Kanduma Island including tax is 836USD, Mafushi 475USD (Mafushi Island has three dive shops, the cheapest is only 435USD); A small bottle of Coke Kangduma Island includes tax 7.32USD, Ma Fushi as long as 0.8USD... Service: You can only say that you enjoy the price, the privacy and thoughtfulness of the residential island are not a star and a half. The resort is expensive, but pay attention to more details and quality. Transportation: Male to Kanduma speedboat two people 229USD, to Mafushi two people 40USD. If you take a public ferry, two people only need 4USD. Considering this, if you book a room yourself, you can even not pick up and drop off at the hotel. You can take a public ferry from Male to Mafushi, and take a speedboat to Kanduma. One way can save more than 150USD. View: There is a big gap, but residential islands are more likely to participate in sea activities. Comprehensive: Accommodation conditions, food, service and other aspects are definitely not as good as the resort, but such a high cost performance, if you can double the island, you may wish to consider going to the residential island to participate in activities.
