This time, the walk around Ninnaji Temple and Fukuoji Shrine will be the first review of 2. It is always along the intersection where traffic is congested. Although it is small, the main shrine is designated as an important cultural property.

We arrived at Fukuoji Shrine wandering around Ninna and its vicinity. Founded in 1644 as the guardian deity of Fukuoji Shrine Ninnaji Temple, it is the daughter of Emperor Koko and enshrines Emperor Uda's mother and empress. The shrine, the hall of worship, and the torii gate are important cultural properties of the country.

It was founded as the guardian deity of Ninnaji Temple because there was a tomb of Emperor Uda's mother who opened a nearby Ninnaji Temple. It is said that the name was "Fukuoji" because of the wish of the heir of Iemitsu Tokugawa, which was rebuilt in the Edo period (the mother of Emperor Uda had many children). The precincts are not large, but the vermilion hall of worship was beautiful.
