The starry sky looks beautiful.

It is located at the observatory of Ryugatake. The lawn is wide and the parking lot is maintained, but the road to come here is narrow. There is also a distance from the national highway, and the width of the road is narrow and there are limited places where you can pass each other on the way. I was surprised at the gap between the road and the facility so far rather than the scenery.
There are two entrances, from Kuradake and from Himedo. Enter the narrow road with many curves to the observatory 々. It will be a practice of handling. The road width is difficult to separate, but there are few oncoming vehicles in the first place. (Nothing this time) It seems that the observatory was closed. The view from the observatory is superb, and this is the wonderfulness of Amakusa. It is worth climbing all the way. Just beautiful scenery. It's my favorite scenery, but some people may think, "Is this all?"
I went there around 8 pm on Saturday, December. We were the only users, but the curator carefully explained it using a laser pointer and a telescope. I'm sorry that it was 400 yen per person. After that, I went to the observatory next door, but after hearing the explanation, it was more interesting than just looking at the stars vaguely. I also enjoyed the night view. On a fairly mountainous road, I saw raccoons crossing 3. Please be careful if you are driving. It's hard to go, but line ...
Access is hard. The beauty of the stars that blow away the hardness.

I don't think the altitude is so high, but at night when there is no blocking of clouds, I lost my words in the beautiful starry sky far beyond my imagination, "Can you see such a beautiful starry sky here?" The night sky that can be seen with the naked eye is super impressive. At the observatory, a professional curator can explain the star 々 according to the season. However, I have been out several times, but in my case, the probability of seeing the stars is reduced by being disturbed by the clouds. It can't be helped because nature is the opponent ...
I visited a camp using a bungalow with my family. This small observatory is located on the premises. If you can't see the stars due to the weather, the planetarium will explain the starry sky. This Amakusa has beautiful air, so you can appreciate the stars even alive. The sea seen from the top of the mountain is also wonderful. The road to reach is a little narrow ...

The entrance is hard to understand
