The local nature reserve is not one of the most popular tourist attractions, with beautiful views across the city, including the castle, where Arthur's seat can be seen at the top of the hill, with a total of five mountains. It feels amazing to roam the Hermitage, especially considering you’re often about 20 metres from a residential street. You can choose a variety of walks, and it’s possible to stroll up to the Observatory as well. Definitely a good way to spend a day. Be careful as it can get VERY muddy.

Nice little wooded area with parks all around. Come with the family or by yourself and have a nice relaxing walk.
