The Big Buddha Temple is located about 50 meters northeast of the intersection of Heping Street and Xinya Street, Nanya Town, Kaizhou District, Chongqing. There is a big Buddha carved in the late Tang Dynasty and early Song Dynasty in the temple. Yiyan Die sits in the Daxiong Palace, the first big Buddha in Chongqing.
