I had an incredible experience going up Mt Batur. It was cloudy on the day that I did the sunrise hike, but the overall experience was wonderful. We got to enjoy warm tea, banana fritter and a breakfast sandwich whilst sitting on top of a volcano. The trek was very easy and was doable in converse shoes.
