Rangitoto Island

On a windy day, we took the ferry out for a hike. We chose a roundabout trip around the island and ended up at the bottom of the hill steps. The steps to the top are quite steep but worth a try as the views from either the crater or the top are spectacular. The volunteer guide was knowledgeable, told us about the history of the island and pointed out some interesting places. If you want to play something different, I highly recommend this site.

Rangitoto Island is a big island next to Oakland. It is a bit inconvenient to take a boat from the city ferry terminal. If you drive to the ferry terminal, Devonport has a parking lot.

I went last year and boarded this pure land again after nine years in Qube Auckland. This island is a place I wanted to go to when I was studying abroad but I haven't been to. This time it was a dream. I chose to hike and took a map before boarding the boat. I thought it was not big. As a result, it took 50 minutes for the good guy to climb to the top. There is an observation deck on the top of the mountain. I simply took a little photo and used a lunch, but I found that there was less water! If you suggest going, bring at least two bottles of water. After watching the scenery, it is really far away along the train route. There are many old houses of former residents near the pier. There are introductions in front of each house. It is very interesting to see. niche tourist spots, it is recommended to go when you have time.
