With great expectations, we finally decided to visit Hobsonville Market. After reading a lot of advertising, we felt disappointed. It was much smaller than I thought and had to squeeze in. We couldn't stand so many people, so we bought coffee and left. It looks like it's going to expand here, so we might do it again in a year.

The seaside trails are neatly and cleanly repaired, although sometimes the wind and waves are a bit big, but the weather is absolutely pleasing to the eye. The port-side yachts and the exquisite bar on the roadside are also eye-catching.
Nice place and great coffee. Most shops are permanent and not really a market, just shops open on weekends. Typical "organic" merchandise pricing, for that reason I never buy anything. The price of 340g coffee is $22, "organic", about half the price in other stores. Meat is the same, about three times the price in supermarkets. There need to be more leisure stores so that local farmers, craftsmen, artists, etc. can bring goods on a more special basis.
