Bell Tower Hotel

The view is unbeatable; compared to the average hotel in Xi'an, the view is its only selling point. The service felt a bit like a state-run enterprise, and the facilities are quite old-fashioned. Perhaps because they are so old, the cleanliness also left much to be desired. While other aspects might be understandable, the breakfast quality was absolutely unacceptable, failing to meet basic health and hygiene standards. The pork products had a foul, unpleasant smell, and the noodles were the worst I've had in Xi'an. In the fruit section, the oranges and watermelons were dried out, and the cherry tomatoes were cracked. This kind of breakfast quality negatively impacts Xi'an's culinary reputation. I've stayed in at least 300 hotels across the country, and this was, without a doubt, the worst breakfast I have ever had. It's fine to stay one night for the view, but definitely skip the breakfast.
