Motel Garberville

Quaint old-fashioned motel - has a lot of original fittings and a real 1960's feel, but it was clean and comfortable. The rooms had character with wood panelling on the walls. Garberville is a charming little American town. Perfect for a stop off on our travels. Friendly staff.

Stopped here again after along tiring drive. This is the 4th time I have stayed here over the years. Three motoryle trips and this one in the car. it is a simple Roadside style Motel with a very nice host, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and quiet. The pirce was about average and certainly within reason. This is a single story facility whre you can park right outside you unit,. Perfect for motorcyles! There is a microwave, frig, small table and chairs, along with a nice sized TV. All in all just what you need for good nights rest and relaxation.

Large, newly paved parking lot. Comfortable room with normal amenities. This hotel seems to be the place where out of town construction workers and road crews come. Everything is one story. Rooms are all behind the checkout office, so road noise is not a problem.

Not our first choice for the night but we started looking late. Very clean. Very quiet. Obviously a property frequented by road crews as there were lots of work trucks. The guys we spoke with when sitting outside were great.

Serviceable motel for a nights stay. There was no dresser in the room. It did have a micro/fridge and tub/shower. It was quiet at night. They are no longer using their lobby but are checking people in through a window.

This motel is average and all reviews of the reasonably priced motels in town all sound the same -- northing to brag about, but OK for being in the middle of a heavily forested area. The room was reasonably clean, but I was there on a 90-plus degree day and the room's air conditioner was blowing behind the room's curtains. If the curtains were 10 inches shorter, that would not happen. As the AC was, being behind the curtains lessened its worth. The only other problem is that the entire western row of rooms had No parking. My car had to be parked 70 yards away. The motel could easily make parking available on half of that western section, at the least. There was also no drain cover in the sink, but the bed was OK.
