In reading reviews on this site and others, it sounded like the Village Inn would be fine for a one night stay on our road trip. However, the reality was far different. While I appreciate the fact that they are attempting to update their facilities by painting, as the saying goes, it's like ”putting ”lipstick on a pig.” It appeared very clean at first sight, parking lot was well maintained and the flowers and all greenery were very nice. Everything was fine until we got to our room. While it first appeared to be just old and outdated, it was soon obvious that it was also dirty. I spilled some water on the floor and used some tissues to wipe it up. The tissues were black with dirt from the floor. The bathtub was old and in serious need of replacement. The toilet was disgusting around the base and the entire bathroom needs to be ripped out and replaced. With that said, it was inexpensive and in a decent location to walk to dinner. As an aside, we walked to McGuires Irish Restaurant and had a fantastic meal.

The Days Inn is a 2-story property that offers 55 standard rooms 3 suites and 2 rooms with jacuzzi. Rooms consist of queen and king beds some with kitchenettes and couches. The Days Inn is surrounded by many fine eating establishments nightclubs and shopping areas some within close walking distance. Greet the morning with a refreshing swim in our sparkling outdoor pool. The Days Inn is located within a 5 minute drive from sugar white beaches with emerald colored water. Pets accepted - maximum of 2 pets allowed for a non-refundable charge of 20 USD per pet per night with a 50 USD refundable deposit. Pet Sanitation Fee is 50 USD if applicable. ADA certified service animals are also welcome at this hotel. Children 17 and under stay free with an adult.

If you can, don’t stay here. Upon arrival to the hotel my family and I noticed the holes and broken brick around the windows (every window) in the front of the hotel. The breakfast was absolutely horrible I ate the breakfast 1 out of the 5 days during my stay. The food is stale and very limited in choices you’re better off ordering out (which we did). Hotel price ridiculous for the quality, and staff wasn’t very helpful other than the woman who checked us in. She upgraded our room to allow us to check in earlier.

Others are okay, that is, before the check-in, all the occupants must be over 21 years of age, not the same as those offered on Ctrip, because this incident has been dragged for a long time to stay, and the traces of Ctrip staff have been helping!

All very nice

We really had big hopes for The Hampton Inn Suites after a lot of business travel in other states where I’ve stayed at their locations. This one is definitely the “ beach vacationers “ model. Overall, it was good and did the trick, but there were some slight differences in quality and conveniences. You have to request housekeeping if you want it. It’s not assumed at all. Not a big deal, but again, when you’ve stayed at other Hampton Inns, this was odd. We had a loose toilet seat and a warped door frame leading out of the room. Just little irritations that needed a refresh. Overall, seemed like they were trying to cut corners to save money - but it’s 2022. Who isn’t at this point.

This was our first trip to Destin, my husband and I. This hotel fit our budget and was clean and had a comfy bed. We drove 12 hours non stop from Indy. They let us check in early so we could shower and nap! Needless to say we were exhausted. There was no breakfast offered but it's not a big loss really. Was within walking of a few places but it was very hot so we mostly drove lol. We plan on coming back with our kids and would stay here again!

I love this place the cleanliness, the atmosphere, the location and above all the staff and their remarkable genuine professionalism and care for you as a guest. This is now my home away from home. My family, friends and business/personal acquaintances will be directed to this amazing hotel. Thank you Christine,Christie, Curtis, Laura, ALL housekeeping and employees. Everyone was so healthful and it was obvious as a guest I wasn't a bother but a pleasure to serve and now part of their hotel family. This Hilton home 2 suite is really great. I booked a separate bedroom. The room was oversized, the refrigerator was big, and the tableware and dishwasher. The room was clean and the location was good. It took less than five minutes to walk to the beach. When I went to this beach, I can see the sunrise and sunset. There are many parking spaces. There are not many types of breakfast but it is delicious. Generally speaking, I will book this hotel when I go there again.
